If you are braced for standard reality TV toxicity, Project Runway Junior is a pleasant surprise. The spin-off takes the structure of the flagship show and replaces cutthroat posturing with teenagers who genuinely cheer for each other's work.
The draw here is watching young creators work through real design problems. They shop for fabric, figure out garment structure, and deal with mistakes in real time. The feedback from judges is direct but fair, showing kids what constructive critique looks like in practice.
It gets emotional when the clock winds down and contestants face elimination, but as creative competition shows go, this one sets a high bar for positivity and actual skill.
