Let's be real: this movie is not good. The critical consensus is clear—43% on Rotten Tomatoes, 4.8/10 on IMDb, 2.5/5 on Letterboxd. Even parents who took their kids to see it were underwhelmed.

The premise (beloved mailman enters talent show, evil robots take over) feels like two different movies awkwardly mashed together. The animation is dated 2014 CGI that looks cheap, and the pacing drags even at what's likely a short runtime.

Is it safe? Absolutely. Is it wholesome? Sure. Will your kid actually want to watch it? Only if they're under 5 and already obsessed with Postman Pat from the TV series. And even then, you're probably better off just putting on another episode of the show.
