This is a modern classic. Emma Yarlett manages to make a book about fear feel like a warm hug.
Unlike some older 'don't be afraid' books that can feel a bit dismissive or dated, this one uses a very modern, doodle-heavy aesthetic that feels fresh even a decade after release. It’s visually stimulating without being overstimulating.
If you have a kid who insists on keeping the hallway light on, get this book. It's not a magic cure, but it's a much better bedtime companion than another round of 'Baby Shark.'
