New Rockstars is the 'smart' side of YouTube. It’s essentially an English Literature class disguised as superhero hype. Hosted by the incredibly sharp Erik Voss, it transforms passive screen time into an exercise in observation and theory-crafting.
However, it’s not a 'set it and forget it' channel. Because they cover everything in pop culture, a kid watching a clean Spider-Man breakdown is only one click away from a breakdown of The Boys featuring significantly more blood and adult language. If your kid is a Marvel or Star Wars obsessive, this is great fuel for their brain, provided you've set some ground rules about which 'universes' they're allowed to explore.
