If you’re a Yellowstone completionist, you’ve probably already hit play. For everyone else, Marshals is a bit of a mixed bag. It takes one of the more interesting characters from the original series and drops him into a fairly standard 'criminal of the week' format that feels a little too safe for the Sheridan-verse.
It’s not bad TV, but it’s not essential either. The low audience scores reflect a fan base that wanted more of the ranch’s soul and got a CBS police drama instead. It’s fine for a Tuesday night watch, but don't expect it to change your life.
