Look, it's a 2010 movie about a talking Great Dane. It was panned by critics then, and it hasn't aged into a classic. It’s the definition of 'background noise' media—fine if it’s already playing at a dentist’s office, but not something you need to seek out.
The CGI is dated, the jokes rely heavily on gas, and the story is a recycled high school drama with paws. If you have a 6-year-old who is obsessed with dogs, they’ll probably find it funny, but there are much better animal movies out there that won't make you want to check your phone every five minutes.
