Mannequin is a neon-soaked relic that works better as a nostalgia trip for parents than a 'must-see' for kids. It's harmless enough, but it's also objectively not a great film—critics absolutely mauled it in '87 for a reason.
If you're looking for a light family movie night and your kids are into the 80s aesthetic, it's a passable choice. Just be prepared for some eye-rolls at the cheesy dialogue and the very dated 'raunchy' humor that seemed to be a requirement for every PG movie in that decade.
