Little Inferno is a rare gem that manages to be both a 'cozy game' and a sharp piece of social commentary. It’s a fireplace simulator where the goal is to burn through a catalog of increasingly bizarre consumer products to stay warm in a world that is slowly freezing over.
It’s the perfect counter-programming to the loud, infinite, dopamine-chasing loops of Roblox or Fortnite. It’s short, weirdly beautiful, and it actually has something to say about how we occupy our time in front of screens. If your kid likes puzzles or has a bit of a 'mad scientist' streak, this is a much better use of their digital hour than another mindless mobile clone.
