Look, if you loved Stabler on SVU and want to see him back in action, this delivers—but it's darker and more violent than its predecessor. The serialized format is a nice evolution from traditional Law & Order episodic structure, giving more character depth and ongoing storylines.

That said, this is absolutely not family viewing. The organized crime focus means we're dealing with the worst of the worst—cartels, trafficking, brutal violence. It's well-executed for what it is (hence the decent ratings), but it's formulaic network TV that doesn't break new ground.

For parents: this is 14+ minimum, and honestly, 16+ might be more appropriate depending on your teen's maturity. If they're into crime procedurals and can handle intense content, fine.
