Last Night in Soho is a visual feast that eventually tries to bite your hand off. It’s Edgar Wright’s most ambitious and darkest film, trading his usual humor for a grim, psychological exploration of the London underworld.
For a teen interested in filmmaking, fashion, or music, it's a 10/10 for style and craft. But as a 'fun' movie night? Not so much. It’s heavy, it’s bloody, and it deals with some of the ugliest parts of human nature. If you’re watching with a kid, make sure they’re ready for the shift from 'fashion student in London' to 'ghost-filled slasher.'
