Klutz kits are the gold standard for a reason. This isn't some cheap 'unboxing' toy that ends up in a landfill two hours later. It’s a solid 36-page book paired with enough supplies to actually make something.

It’s a perfect 'reset' activity when the kids have had too much iPad time and are starting to get that glazed-over look. Just do yourself a favor and set it up on a tray or a surface you can easily wipe down. The science is real, the results are fizzy, and it’s one of the few kits that actually delivers on the promise of the box art.

Technically rated for 10+, but a 6-year-old can handle it if you're acting as the 'lab assistant.' Any older than 12 and the 'cute' factor might wear thin unless they're DIY-obsessed.
