Look, this movie had potential—youth sports culture can absolutely be toxic, and exploring that through comedy could work. But Kicking & Screaming spends so much time mining laughs from Will Ferrell screaming at 10-year-olds that the message gets lost.
The TMDB score of 5.8/10 tells you what you need to know: this was a mediocre comedy even in 2005, and it hasn't improved with age. It's not offensively bad or inappropriate for kids, but it's also not good enough to recommend when there are so many better family films out there.
If your kid is obsessed with soccer and Will Ferrell, sure, throw it on. But don't expect much beyond some mild chuckles and a very obvious moral about not being a crazy sports parent. There are better ways to spend 95 minutes as a family.
