Look, on paper Ironheart has everything going for it: a brilliant young inventor, STEM representation, MCU connectivity, and a cool tech-vs-magic hook. In practice? This is one of those shows where the audience score tells you everything you need to know.
A 4.5 on IMDb and 2.8 on Letterboxd are catastrophically bad for a Disney+ Marvel show. That 31-point critic-audience split on Rotten Tomatoes screams 'the professionals are being generous but actual viewers are bailing.' The show apparently fails to deliver on its premise with weak characterization, pacing problems, or just plain boring execution.
If your teen is a die-hard MCU completist, fine—they'll watch it anyway. But if you're looking for quality superhero content that's actually worth your family's time? There are dozens of better options. This is a skip unless you're contractually obligated to watch every Marvel property.
