Look, Dolly is basically a secular saint at this point, and this book treats her with the right amount of fun and respect. Brad Meltzer’s series is great because it doesn't talk down to kids. It uses a comic-strip style that makes the history go down easy.

Dolly’s life—growing up poor in the mountains, staying true to her big hair and big personality, and then spending her fortune on books for kids—is the kind of story we actually want our kids to internalize. It’s the literal opposite of brain rot. It’s a solid, high-quality addition to any kid's bookshelf.
