Gartic Phone is one of the best things to come out of the 2020 era of 'how do we hang out online?' It's simple, free, and genuinely funny. The 'Telephone' mechanic—where a prompt like 'a cat eating pizza' becomes a drawing, then a guess, then another drawing—is a perfect engine for laughs.
The catch is the social layer. This isn't a game to let a kid play solo with strangers. It is strictly a 'bring your own friends' experience. If you use it as a tool for a structured family night or a supervised hang with school friends, it’s a 10/10. If you let them wander into the public 'Join' button, they will see things you’ll have to explain earlier than you wanted to.
