Furious is a standard-issue dark procedural that doesn't quite stick the landing. It tries to be a high-stakes psychological thriller, but with a middling audience rating, it feels more like a placeholder while you wait for the next season of a better show.
If you're a die-hard fan of the genre, you'll find the cat-and-mouse game between Alice Black and her target familiar enough to be comfortable. For everyone else, the grim tone and predictable beats make it a 'maybe' at best. It's fine for a late-night binge if you've run out of options, but it's not a must-watch.
