Look, Freelance is the kind of movie that gets made because studios need content and John Cena needs paychecks. It's a paint-by-numbers action-comedy with a military coup, jungle hijinks, and probably some fish-out-of-water humor.
The 6.4/10 TMDB rating tells you everything: it's not offensively bad, but it's aggressively mediocre. The premise has been done better in dozens of other films. Without any critical acclaim, notable creative talent, or buzz, this is the definition of forgettable streaming filler.
For parents: this is absolutely not for kids. The military violence, coup scenarios, and combat make it inappropriate for anyone under 16, and even then, your teen could spend their time way better. If your older teen wants to watch it, fine, but don't expect any meaningful conversations afterward—this isn't that kind of movie.
Bottom line: Skip it unless you've literally run out of every other action-comedy on the planet.
