Look, Ken Jeong is talented, but Dr. Ken is the kind of show that makes you wonder how it got greenlit. A 7% on Rotten Tomatoes is genuinely impressive in how bad that is—critics absolutely destroyed this thing. The premise isn't terrible (doctor with no people skills, therapist wife keeps things sane), but the execution was apparently painful.
The audience score of 59% suggests some people found it tolerable, probably as background noise. It's safe for families in that nothing objectionable happens, but it's also just...not good. Not funny enough to justify watching, not smart enough to be enriching, not creative enough to be interesting.
It's free on Tubi and Roku, which is about what it's worth. If your kid stumbles across it and watches an episode, no harm done. But there's zero reason to actively seek this out when you could watch literally hundreds of better family sitcoms. Even old episodes of Full House have more rewatch value, and that's saying something.
