This is a classic 'coffee table book for kids.' It’s not something they’ll sit down and read cover-to-cover like a novel, but it’s the kind of thing that stays on the shelf for years because it’s so easy to dip into.
DK hasn't really changed the formula since the 90s because it works. It’s clean, it’s high-quality, and it makes 'learning' feel like browsing a cool museum gift shop. If your kid is into world-building or history, this is a no-brainer addition to the library.
