Look, Curious George is a beloved character, and this movie is technically safe and wholesome. But let's be real: this is a 2015 direct-to-video third sequel that nobody asked for, and the reviews tell the story (5.5 on IMDb, 2.9 on Letterboxd, 50% audience score on RT).
If your toddler is in a hardcore Curious George phase and has already watched everything else seventeen times, sure, throw this on. It won't hurt them. But it's also not going to do much for them beyond filling 90 minutes. The animation is serviceable, the story is predictable, and the entertainment value is minimal.
The first Curious George movie (2006) is genuinely charming. This is... not that. It's the kind of sequel that exists because streaming platforms need content and parents need something—anything—to occupy the toddler for an hour. Mission accomplished, but barely.
