Look, we all know Lady Tremaine is the worst, but Valentino actually makes you understand how she got there. This isn't your toddler's Cinderella; it's a grounded, chilling look at how a person's heart turns to stone.

It’s a bit of a downer, honestly, but for a teen who loves a 'broken' character arc or wants to see the darker side of the Magic Kingdom, it’s a total page-turner. Just don't hand it to a 7-year-old unless you want to explain what systemic emotional neglect is before they've even finished their homework.

Best for kids 11 or 12 and up. It’s Disney, but it’s the 'therapy session' version of Disney. Younger kids will likely find it confusing, depressing, or just plain mean.
