Close Enough is basically therapy for exhausted millennial parents, wrapped in surrealist animation. It's funny, relatable, and wonderfully weird—but it's absolutely not for kids, despite being a cartoon.
The lack of an official content rating is frustrating for parents trying to make informed choices, but the synopsis alone (stripper clowns, really?) makes it clear this is adults-only territory. Think of it as your reward for surviving another day of actual parenting—something to watch with wine after bedtime, not during Saturday morning cartoons.
If you loved Regular Show but now have a mortgage and existential dread about preschool tuition, this might hit the spot. Just keep it far away from the kids' watchlist.
