This is a solution in search of a problem that doesn't really exist anymore. Boomerangs were Instagram's hot feature in 2016-2018, and now Instagram has the effect built-in. This third-party app adds... filters? Speed controls? Nothing compelling.
The bigger issue: it's explicitly designed to make posting to social media frictionless, complete with a subscription model that preys on kids who click 'free trial' without understanding they'll be charged monthly. The app itself won't harm anyone, but it's a gateway drug to social media platforms that absolutely can.
If your kid wants to learn video editing, get them CapCut or iMovie. If they want to make silly looping videos for fun, Instagram already does this. This app serves no purpose except to monetize a dated trend, and the WISE score reflects that harsh reality.
