If your kid is obsessed with Shuri and Namor, they’ll enjoy the novelty of this for a few rounds. The artwork is sharp, and the custom buildings (temples) look great on the table.
However, let’s be real: this is a reskinned Monopoly. If your family already finds Monopoly frustrating, boring, or a recipe for an argument, the Black Panther theme isn't going to fix that. It’s a safe, standard gift choice, but there are much better 'modern' board games out there if you're looking for real strategy.

If you're looking for a game that actually feels like a battle for the fate of a nation, you might want to look at something like Marvel United or even the older Wakanda Forever dice game by Spin Master, which is much faster. But if you just want a familiar game with a cool aesthetic for a rainy Sunday, this fits the bill.
