Look, this is a direct-to-video Barbie movie from 2013. It's safe, it's inoffensive, and it will absolutely not harm your child. But let's be real: it's also pretty dull.
These movies exist primarily to sell toys, and it shows in the thin plotting and mediocre animation. If your 4-year-old is deep in a Barbie phase and you need 72 minutes of guaranteed-safe screen time, fine. But there are so many better animated options out there—even other Barbie content has more going for it.
The 6.1 IMDb rating tells the story: even parents being generous can only muster mild enthusiasm. This won't rot anyone's brain, but it also won't do much to engage it either.
