Algodoo is a breath of fresh air in a world of 'freemium' garbage. It’s been around since 2009, and while the graphics haven't changed much, the value hasn't dipped either.
It’s a serious physics engine disguised as a cartoon. There are no flashing lights trying to steal your kid's attention, just a blank canvas and some very smart math. It might take them a few tries to figure out the menus, but once they do, they're basically junior mechanical engineers. If you want screen time that actually builds brain cells, this is it.
