This book is the ultimate parental hack for introducing Star Wars without the nightmare-inducing imagery of the films. It’s functional, well-constructed, and does exactly what it says on the tin.
It’s not high literature, and it won't win a Pulitzer, but it’s a reliable tool for your bedtime rotation. If you want to share your love of Jedi and Wookiees without having to explain why Darth Vader is so grumpy, this is your best bet.
This is the sweet spot for kids aged 3 to 7. Younger kids will love the pictures, and early readers can start tackling the sentences themselves, but by age 8 or 9, they'll likely find these versions too 'babyish' and want the real movies.
