Listen to this episode if you want to share your nostalgic love of arcades with your kids and maybe give them a good scare.

Ages 6-8 If your kid needs help falling asleep and they’re super into video games, might I suggest Koala Moon’s episode The Alien Who Slept in the Arcade? In this episode, Stanley the Alien visits an intergalactic arcade. It sounds amazing, because it is! But the most important part is that it works. Your kids will fall asleep and have dreams that are out of this world!

Ages 7-14
Mick Sullivan’s kids’ podcast makes history so fun. What else would you expect from show that has such a brilliant name? Video games feel new but they have a deep history too. In this episode, we learn about video game-changers Ralph Baer and Jerry Lawson.
What If World - Stories for Kids
What if a dog got a Nintendo Switch? (w/ Emmy & Everett)
Ages 4-11
On What If World, host, Mr. Eric, invites kids to call in and ask hypothetical “what if” questions. Then Mr. Eric answers that question with a new story using the characters from the What If World universe. In this episode, Everett and Emmy ask the question, “What if a dog got a Nintendo Switch?” and the kids get to help make the story. They’re even in it! Your kids will listen for the Nintendo Switch content but, beware. They’ll want to listen to a lot more episodes after that.
