This is a slick, deeply unsettling 91-minute condensation of the Thomas Randolph case, directed by Chris Smith. Randolph married six times, four of his wives ended up dead, and he walked away with substantial insurance payouts until the 2008 murder of Sharon Causse finally caught up with him. It is compelling, but it is purely adult true crime.
Do not leave this on as background television when younger kids are in the room. The film pulls directly from police evidence files, featuring graphic photos from the homicide scene, explicit details about fatal gunshot wounds, and Randolph's chillingly casual interviews.
If you have a high schooler obsessed with criminology or investigative journalism, watching it together offers a clear look at pathological gaslighting and trial strategy. For everyone else under 15, let them skip it entirely.
