Sorry to Bother You is the kind of movie that makes you say 'What the hell did I just watch?' in the best and worst ways simultaneously. It's brilliantly original, fearlessly weird, and has more to say about race, class, and capitalism than a dozen earnest documentaries.
But it's also deeply uncomfortable, deliberately off-putting, and features a third act that involves genetic experiments creating human-horse hybrids that will haunt your dreams. The gap between the 93% critic score and 70% audience score tells the story—critics appreciate the audacity, but regular viewers often find it too weird or too preachy.
This is absolutely not for kids or teens. The R rating is earned through language, nudity, drugs, and disturbing imagery. But for adults who can handle provocative satire and don't mind being made uncomfortable, it's a singular piece of filmmaking that takes real creative risks. Just know what you're getting into before you press play.
