Sonic.EXE is not an official Sega product. It is a 2011 fan-made horror project built on top of an internet urban legend (a creepypasta). The game tricks players with familiar 16-bit Genesis visuals before unleashing a blood-weeping demonic Sonic who hunts down and slaughters Tails, Knuckles, and Dr. Robotnik.
As an interactive game, it is bottom-tier: you basically hold down the right arrow key until a scripted jumpscare triggers and your character dies horribly. There are no mechanics, no choices, and no redeeming skill-building—just cheap shock value and distorted screamer audio.
Keep pre-teens far away from this. Even if they never download the original PC executable, be aware that Sonic.EXE has spawned thousands of Roblox mods and YouTube reaction videos that trade on the exact same psychological terror.
