Sacrifice is the kind of movie that wants an Oscar but barely manages to keep your attention on a Tuesday night. It follows the romance between Blake (the military officer) and James (the humanitarian), but the chemistry is reportedly flat and the plot is buried under a mountain of service-before-self cliches.
With an audience score sitting at a dismal 35%, this isn't exactly a crowd-pleaser. Unless you are a completionist for military dramas or have a very high tolerance for slow-moving romances, this is one you can safely skip. It's not 'bad' in a fun way—it's just a bit of a drag.
