Not Parent Approved is exactly what it claims to be: a screen-free, slightly mischievous party game that understands exactly what makes an 8-year-old tick. It’s essentially Cards Against Humanity with the adult content swapped out for boogers and vampires.
It’s not deep, and it’s not going to win any awards for complex strategy, but it’s a reliable tool for getting a room full of kids to actually look at each other and laugh. It’s the kind of game you keep in the cabinet for when the 'I'm bored' whining starts or when you need a way to keep the cousins occupied while the adults finish dinner.
