Love Reset (released in Korea as 30 Days) takes the most overused trope in Korean drama history—convenient amnesia—and milks it for solid slapstick comedy. A married couple on the verge of finalizing a bitter divorce gets into a car crash leaving the courthouse, wakes up with zero memory of each other, and immediately starts falling in love all over again. Horrified, their families team up to restore their memories before the 30-day divorce cooling-off period expires.
This is a movie for parents' night in or for an older teen who is already deep into K-dramas. It's loud, broad, and completely ridiculous, anchored by two leads who aren't afraid to look like total idiots on screen. It won't change anyone's life, and younger kids will wander out of the room within ten minutes, but as a breezy two-hour comedy, it hits its marks.
