Loot is a perfectly serviceable workplace comedy that won't change your life but probably won't waste your time either. Maya Rudolph does her thing, the premise has potential for exploring wealth and purpose, and it's generally wholesome in its messaging about finding meaning beyond materialism.
That said, it's not a standout. The 6.8 TMDB rating tells the story—it's fine. The 'rich person learns about real life' trope has been done better elsewhere, and this doesn't bring enough fresh perspective to make it essential viewing. For parents, this is firmly adult territory with nothing for kids under 14-15.
