Just Dance: Decades of Hits trades the year on the box for a trip through six decades
Ubisoft dropped the yearly numbering this time. Instead of a 2027 Edition, the fall 2026 game is Just Dance: Decades of Hits, out October 13 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and November 10 on Nintendo Switch 2. The 35 songs run from the '70s to now: ABBA's "Mamma Mia," Billy Joel's "Uptown Girl," Run-DMC, TLC, the Spice Girls, *NSYNC, Gorillaz, and current hits from Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Bad Bunny.
Up to six people can dance at once in the same room, each scored on their own.
That mix is the pitch: a parent who grew up on "Wannabe" and a kid who knows "Hot to Go!" can both find a song they know.
Adventure Mode gives younger kids a reason to keep going
The new Adventure Mode follows Lyra, the daughter of the series' Dr. Gigavolt, through six decade-themed worlds to rescue her father. Between songs there are small activities and unlockable rewards, and each stop tells you the routine's difficulty before you start.
Adventure Mode strings songs together with a map, mini activities and a level bar.
Party Mode changes the rules every round, and Workout Mode counts calories per dance, which makes it a fair pick for a cold afternoon stuck inside.
Fewer songs, more upsell
At $39.99 the game ships with 35 tracks, fewer than Just Dance 2026 had at launch. Ubisoft's answer is Just Dance+, a paid streaming subscription with a much larger song catalog, plus the option to pull songs from the 2023 to 2026 editions you already own into one menu. If you already own Just Dance 2026 and a Just Dance+ pass, the case for this one rests on Adventure Mode and the decade theme. If you're starting fresh, it's a strong first Just Dance.
