This is one of those ultra-indie visual novels that exists in a weird space - wholesome concept, safe technical profile, but also... it's about buying milk. The IGDB rating of 83 suggests the people who played it found something meaningful, possibly exploring social anxiety or agoraphobia through a simple task.
The problem is discoverability and engagement. Without content ratings, detailed reviews, or much information at all, you're taking a flyer on whether this resonates. For a kid dealing with anxiety about everyday tasks, this could be validating. For most kids, this will feel like the gaming equivalent of watching paint dry.
It's safe, it's cheap (probably), and it's short - so low risk. But also low reward unless your kid specifically gravitates toward narrative-heavy, slice-of-life indie games. This isn't making anyone's Top 10 list, but it won't rot their brain either.
