This is a 'vibes' book for the stroller set. It’s short, sweet, and actually shows a dad being the primary caregiver on a neighborhood outing, which is still rarer than it should be in board books. If you’re building a library that looks like a real city, this is a no-brainer.
It doesn't try to be more than it is. It's a rhythmic, beautifully illustrated walk that encourages kids to look up and notice the people around them. For a two-year-old, that’s plenty of plot.
