Honey Bee Tree is a classic 'first board game' for a reason. It is basically KerPlunk with a nature skin, swapped for leaves and bees. It is a great way to build dexterity and teach turn-taking to the preschool set without the complexity of a move-your-pawn game.
It is tactile, visually interesting to a four-year-old, and doesn't require any reading. If you are tired of the repetitive nature of Candy Land, this is a much better use of time because it actually builds a physical skill while you play.
