This is what a good kids' strategy game looks like: simple enough to learn in two minutes, deep enough that you actually have to think, and quick enough that nobody melts down mid-game.
The corner-to-corner rule is brilliantly intuitive—kids get it immediately, but it creates real spatial puzzles. The larger pieces and bigger board are thoughtfully designed for small hands and developing motor skills. The 10 mini-games are a nice touch for easing younger players in, though many kids will skip straight to the main event.
The two-player limit is the main drawback. If you've got three kids, someone's sitting out. But for one-on-one parent-child time or sibling pairs, it's a solid 15-minute brain workout that doesn't feel like homework. It's not going to blow anyone's mind, but it does exactly what it promises: teaches 5-year-olds to plan ahead without making them cry.
