This isn't a lazy movie tie-in. It’s a genuinely sharp, character-driven novel that humanizes T'Challa by taking away his gadgets and throwing him into the most dangerous environment known to man: middle school.
It works because it respects the source material while doing something new. If your kid is obsessed with the Black Panther movies but struggles to sit through a standard novel, this is the perfect bridge. It's fast-paced, funny, and has just enough 'weird stuff' happening to keep them turning pages.
