This is one of those rare Bollywood films that broke through to international acclaim for good reason—it's gorgeous, emotionally resonant, and actually has something meaningful to say about living fully and prioritizing what matters. The friendship at its core is genuine, and watching three guys work through their baggage while skydiving over Spanish coastlines is pretty compelling.
That said, it's long, it's subtitled (unless you speak Hindi), and it's definitely aimed at an older teen/adult audience with its romantic subplots and mature themes. This isn't a family movie night pick for your 10-year-old, but for a 14-year-old who's thinking about college, friendships, and what kind of life they want? This could hit surprisingly hard.
The WISE score reflects that it's a genuinely enriching, well-made film with strong values, but it's not going to work for younger kids and requires some maturity to appreciate. If your teen is into travel, adventure, or just good storytelling about friendship, this is worth the time investment.
