For everyone else, this is a skip. It is a group of people in suits using 'sports' language to talk about scripted soap opera drama. It is safe, but it is filler in its purest form.

While it is all staged, the visual of someone getting slammed through a table is still the primary selling point.
If you are trying to limit screen time, this is the first thing you should cut. Your kid can jump straight into the actual SummerSlam event without missing a beat. But if you want a low-stakes way to engage with their interest, sitting through the countdown and asking who they think will win is an easy win for co-engagement.
