If your kid has the first eight books, you’re buying this. There’s no way around it. Kazu Kibuishi is a master of the craft, and even a slightly rushed Amulet book is better than 90% of what’s on the shelf.
It’s not a perfect ending—some fan-favorite characters get sidelined and the plot moves at warp speed to hit the finish line—but the vibes and the visuals are top-tier. It’s a safe, imaginative, and meaningful end to a legendary run. Just make sure they start at Book 1, or they’ll be hopelessly lost by page ten.
