Let's be clear: The Terminal List is not a family show, not a teen show, and definitely not sneaking into your middle schooler's watchlist. This is Chris Pratt in his darkest role yet—a traumatized Navy SEAL on a revenge rampage after his entire platoon is murdered.
The show is competently made (that 7.969 TMDB rating suggests audiences who like this genre are satisfied), but it's relentlessly violent, psychologically dark, and built entirely around vengeance killing. If you're looking for something enriching for your kids, keep scrolling. If you're an adult who enjoys military thrillers and can handle intense violence, this might be your jam.
For Screenwise purposes, this scores low across the board because it's simply not appropriate content for the families we're serving. The only conversation worth having is with older teens about whether revenge is ever justified and how we support veterans with PTSD—but even then, there are gentler entry points to those topics.
