Look, if you're going to let your preschooler watch something before bed, this is a genuinely solid choice. It's Sesame Workshop doing what they do best—taking a concept (late-night talk shows) and making it work for tiny humans.
The format is clever enough to keep parents from losing their minds, the episodes are blessedly short, and there's actual educational value baked in. The celebrity guests are hit-or-miss for kids but at least give you something to look at besides puppets.
The 2020 production means some episodes have that pandemic Zoom vibe that already feels dated, but the core concept holds up. It's not revolutionary—it's Elmo being Elmo in a slightly different wrapper—but it's well-executed and genuinely appropriate for its target audience.
If your kid is in the Elmo phase, this is a better choice than a lot of the YouTube garbage out there. If they've aged out of Sesame Street, they'll find this painfully babyish.
