The Drama manages to take the tired 'wedding gone wrong' premise and inject it with enough actual humanity to make it worth your time. It’s less about falling cakes and more about the falling out that happens when two people realize they might not know each other as well as they thought.
It’s a solid pick for a date night or a watch with an older teen who’s starting to age out of standard YA fare. It doesn't pull its punches, and while it's technically a comedy-drama, the drama carries most of the weight here.
