If you're trying to get a second or third grader off a screen and into a book, this is a solid bait-and-switch. It’s interactive enough to keep a short attention span engaged, but it’s actually teaching them how to think logically.
It isn't high literature, and it won't win a Newbery, but it does exactly what an early chapter book should do: it makes reading feel like a game rather than a chore. The STEM tie-ins are a nice bonus that makes the 'educational' tag feel earned rather than just a marketing buzzword.
