Tales of the Gold Monkey is the best Indiana Jones show that isn't actually Indiana Jones. It’s a relic of an era when TV was allowed to be unironically adventurous and a little bit goofy.
While the pacing is definitely slower than what you'll find on Disney+ today, the chemistry between the ragtag crew and the constant threat of 1930s espionage keeps it engaging. It's a solid pick for a Saturday afternoon watch with a kid who likes maps, planes, and mysteries.
