Onigiri is a 'snack' anime in the worst sense—it's mostly empty calories. Produced to promote a now-dated MMORPG, the series consists of 13 tiny episodes that barely have time to establish a scene before they end.
Unless your kid is a die-hard fan of the original game or is obsessed with every piece of Japanese folklore ever put to screen, there's no real reason to watch this. It's mediocre, visually dated, and leans too hard on 'bouncy' character physics to make up for its lack of a script.
